Oh, that brings back memories! When K and I were still on opposite sides of the Atlantic, it would end up that one or other of us found ourselves staying up all night just so that we could chat. And, being in the UK, I found few other people around at my online times to talk to. There were maybe 5-7 of us compared to the hundreds of US-based people using the same venue. Still, we became pretty close because of that - bibliogirl was one of those friends from back then, and I still keep in touch after 17 years!!

I don't have any helpful suggestions for you, Davinia, other than 1) Find a job with odd hours (and give up any sort of RL social life!) 2) Go seek out more TS girls in the UK and encourage them to join the same sites you use, or 3) Emigrate... ;)

As you can see, I ended up taking option 3!

Sweetie, then does that mean that currently you are at almost 6:00pm? I get so confused sometimes about the differences in time. I used to live in Virginia, near Washington DC, and my friends there are three-hours ahead of me.

At any rate, we appreciate you and your steadfastness. You are one of my most frequent friends and one that I really like hearing from whatever time of day it is.
