In case you are wondering what the hell am I on about!!?? (There is nothing new there is there.) (lol) There is a phrase over here in England, 'Nancy Boy', which means 'an effeminate or homosexual boy or man.' That certainly doesn't describe any of we girls. And is the last thing on god's Earth I want to be or be seen as!!! I simply want to be a woman! However, I would love to be a 'Nancy'!!

Nancy is one of the key characters in the musical 'Oliver' and BBC TV there is a competition to find who is going to play the part on the West End Stage in London. Although as I am not yet very far on with my transition I can say, with perhaps too much male cynicism, I think the TV programme is just an advertisement for the show.

The main thing is I think the costumes the girls wear are simply gorgeous and I would love to be up there on stage with them! As for the girls voices they are divine and they also act as they are singing. Sadly my voice will never be able to reach the heights these women do! The two girls above are now out of the competition!
