We girls are thankfully on our way to achieving our womanhood. For me yet another reason for leaving the masculine world came into sharp focus this weekend.

There are evil women in the world, for example Myra Hindly who killed children with her partner, Ian Brady, close to where I live; and Rosemary West who, together with her husband Fred did unspeakable things to heer own and other children.

However when it comes to evil, men are beyond compare as has been shown this weekend in Austria where a 73-year-old man confessed to imprisoning his daughter in a cellar for 24 years and fathering her seven children. Police said Josef Fritzl also admitted burning the body of a baby that died at the house in Amstetten, Lower Austria. Mr Fritzl has been taken to court while authorities are caring for the woman, now 42, and her six surviving children.

Thankfully, the worst male evil is something we should never have to personally experience, but in becoming women we are open to other male crimes, such as rape and sexual assaults. Whilst the evil men do is far from being a reason to transition distancing my self from such an evil gender is yet another benefit
